Caveat: The content of this narrative is protected by Section 3(2)(1)(b)(c)(ii) of the Sedition Act (1948) (Revised 1969 (Act 15) – it’s not sedition when you point out a fault or a flaw in a law or a government policy with the sole intention of correcting such errors, omissions and mistakes.
[1] Facts aspire, desire and conspire to expose and evidence the uncomfortable truth with mixed emotions, chaotic experiences, and confused personal opinions that forge a belief, and ominously faith whether in religion or in affairs of government. The Vatican got away from the fracas after the Treaty of Westphalia in 1648 when State and religion went their separate ways. The citizenry emerged as collateral damage while elected government posited itself as an ineffective remedy and a wholly false relief.
[2] Westminster style government, per se, supposedly refers to governance as a system of social justice where the maximum happiness (utilitarianism, courtesy Jeremy Bentham and John Stuart Mill) for the masses is the primary objective if you believe in its various nuances as social democracy. The fact zone exposes mass naivete and misunderstanding. This is not abnormal because Asian culture has much deeper roots than Anglo-Saxon cults.
[3] Malaysia’s major malaise is corruption. It’s been talked about till the thinking stinking mind has become dim, dull and dumb. The permanent cure and remedy to this cancer is the death penalty for those found guilty of giving and accepting bribes. To make it effective, it must showcase a public hanging. Several nations are practicing this fact of life - pun intended.
[4] Forget the mystics, mistakes, political scientists, thinkers, tinkers and philosophers. The universal face of government is best expressed and explained in Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar – upon seeing Cassius describes him as “a man with a lean and hungry look: such men are dangerous.” That is the starting point of this narrative where unbridled and undefined politics has cast a ominous shadow,
[5] Malaysia’s problems begin with the loss of identity as a nation. What is our civilizational legacy? What is our national character except for being suspicious of your neighbor if they are not of your own race and religion, and this breeds polarization. Malay enclaves, Chinese communities, Indian neighborhoods, Aboriginal areas and reserves, etc. serve Westminster’s aphorism for divide, separate, segregate to cause chaos. Look what they wrought with the India-Pakistan divide 1946-1947; the creation of Israel by the Zionists 1948; the breakup of Yugoslavia in the 1990s culminating in the creation of Serbia and Croatia.
[6] Socioeconomic attainment has been replaced by geopolitical entertainment. Branding and marketing a political product have become more important. Now it’s the Madani regime; earlier it was the Family theme. What happened to the 1-Malaysia concept? When will we rebuild our national identity and character if we have one? The only relief is found in adat representing our own culture, customs, mores and traditions.
[7] The “I see the world” has been replaced by the iPhone leaving parents helpless. They are unable to replace that satanic device because there is absolutely no communication between child and parent except with that infernal device. What are we teaching our children? Invite more private tutors as if school attendance and school homework isn’t enough?
[8] Family and community standing as an enlightened and awakened constituency can and must demand the best for their safety and security economically and politically. Not just regular police patrols which never happen but developing a sense of decency with greater urgency. Are we aspiring to be a nation of irresponsible self-styled preachers bent on weaponizing religion no thanks to rudderless leadership?
[9] Our architecture of value is destroyed and replaced by unstoppable power, unbridled authority and uncontrollable corruption. Malaysians must awaken to a new reality that new laws need to be rewritten concerning punishments for those found guilty of corruption. How many laws have the 222 MPs (lawmakers) in Parliament proposed since the Madanieers took over? Does MP mean MouthPiece or Member of Parliament?
[10] “Malaysia abolished the mandatory death penalty in April 2023 to uphold human rights, restore judicial discretion, and align with international norms. The reforms replaced mandatory capital punishment with sentencing alternatives (up to 40 years imprisonment) for serious crimes, allowing judges to consider mitigating factors, although the death penalty remains an option for specific cases,” according to the Blavatnik School of Government.
[11] The above passage is full of inconsistencies: uphold human rights? No sane person believes that government upholds human rights. “Restore judicial discretion? Right to die is the discretion of judges if and when the law says the punishment is death in the interests of social justice. “And align with international norms”? Does the Malaysian government follow some or all international norms as a member of the international community?
[12] A prime minister has two functions: one, as a politician he must win an election; two, he must effectively govern the nation and the country. Has PMX done both like Narendra Modi has for India? He may win another election, but can hegovern? All his Reformasi ideals are just that – impractical ideals and wild ideas. Obviously Reformasi has no bite or burn to its original agenda. Another election campaign is all that it was meant to be.
[13] Track record, performance and commitment is missing in Madani’s vocabulary or whatever political philosophy it is supposedly pursuing or following. Policies, policy makers, and politicians have weakened the nation. They must step aside en masse and start anew with merit as a mandatory pre-qualification for politicians seeking leadership aspirations in government.
[14] Malaysian voters must be mindful of the clarion call of Article 48(a) (Disqualification for membership of Parliament) Federal Constitution – he is and has been found or declared to be of unsound mind. The Holy Quran at 4:5 refers to persons of unsound mind as sufaha. It is unknown in Malaysia if MPs are subjected to psychological or psychiatric evaluations as demanded by the supreme law of the land at Article 48(a).
